A portion of your membership contribution will support the Foundation’s scholarship and international student programs. All membership levels include recognition at the annual luncheon.

How to Join

You may join online below or by mailing payment to The Truman Foundation, PO Box 755, Shawnee Mission, KS 66201.

The Truman Foundation is a Missouri not-for-profit corporation recognized as a Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Membership Levels

All membership levels include recognition in the luncheon program.




Good Neighbor – $150.00

  • Admission to the annual luncheon

Plain Speaking – $250.00

  • Admission to the annual luncheon
  • A copy of President Truman’s memoir Mr. Citizen

Whistle Stop – $500.00

  • Admission for two (2) to the annual luncheon
  • A commemorative silver-plated Truman coin

Ambassador – $1,000.00

  • Admission for two (2) to the annual luncheon
  • An invitation for two (2) to a pre-luncheon dinner held in honor of the Good Neighbor Award recipient

White House – $2,500.00

  • A table of ten (10) guests at the annual Luncheon
  • Invitation for two (2) to a pre-luncheon dinner held in honor of the Good Neighbor Award recipient

Presidential – $5,000.00

  • A table of ten (10) guests at the annual Luncheon
  • Invitation for four (4) to a pre-luncheon dinner held in honor of the Good Neighbor Award recipient
  • Choice of book authored by a past honoree (to be picked up from the book table at the Luncheon)
