How to Apply

Scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students who may be American citizens or other nationals, provided they meet the stated guidelines.

Each scholarship will be awarded annually in the amount of $2,500.00. The awards will be non-renewable.

Each institution, at which a scholarship has been created, will establish a screening process for evaluating the acceptability of the applicants’ academic performance and their potential for a meaningful career or contribution to international service.

The name of and appropriate biographical material on each applicant selected by the Institution’s screening process will be given to the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee of the Harry S. Truman Good Neighbor Award Foundation or his designate by first of March. Upon selection, Scholarship recipients will be informed immediately by the Foundation and will receive details about the luncheon at that time.
